Westchester County, New York—In a move as audacious as it is disturbing, Allan Kassenoff, the embattled lawyer at the center of one of the most bizarre divorce cases in recent memory, has launched a new family law practice in Westchester County. This is the same Allan Kassenoff whose ex-wife, Catherine Kassenoff, a former federal prosecutor, tragically ended her life in Switzerland through assisted suicide after a drawn-out and bitter custody battle.
Catherine's death followed years of acrimony, with allegations of emotional abuse, manipulation, and the alienation of her children.
What’s most chilling about Kassenoff’s latest venture isn’t merely the shadow of this infamous divorce—it’s the endorsement from none other than Christopher Ambrose, a man accused of sexual and emotional abuse, with his own documented history of pathological behavior.
Ambrose’s testimonial on Kassenoff’s new law firm’s website raises more than eyebrows—it raises serious concerns about the values and ethics of this new practice and the judgment of its founding attorney.
A Disturbing Partnership: Kassenoff and Ambrose
Kassenoff has been given a modicum of press vindication in a The Free Press article that painted him more favorably after the tragedy of his divorce. Admittedly, I have conversed with several individuals who spoke highly of Allan. They said he was a man—an excellent father—doing the best he could given his circumstances. I have no reason to doubt that he genuinely believes he is in the right.
But that also raises the question—were those “circumstances” self-created by his own prior poor judgment?
The goal of this exercise isn’t to rehash the Kassenoff divorce saga or do a “hit piece” on Allan. It is to focus this question of judgment in the matrimonial arena as it pertains to a new law firm and its founder. As Allan Kassenoff hangs out his shingle, this becomes a matter of public commercial concern.
What is Allan Kassenoff’s law firm selling? And why is he enlisting Christopher Ambrose to help him do it?
The decision to showcase a glowing testimonial from Christopher (Ambrose)—a man labeled a psychopath by court documents and experts—speaks volumes about Kassenoff’s lack of judgment. Ambrose’s glowing recommendation of Kassenoff as a lawyer who offered him “invaluable strategic advice” is more of a red flag than a badge of honor.
Here is the full testimonial:
“I met Allan during the post-trial motion phase of my divorce. Unfortunately, my divorce became more and more contentious as my wife burned through multiple attorneys, each more aggressive than the last. I was lucky to have met Allan at that point. He patiently advised me and provided invaluable strategic advice, which I conveyed to my lawyer. Without Allan’s assistance (which he freely provided without ever asking for a dime), I don’t believe I would have been as successful in my divorce. In short, Allan is incredibly knowledgeable as to law, but, more importantly, his strategic advice showed a keen understanding of the litigation process. Even though he wasn’t being paid, Allan’s kindness and genuine concern for my kids (and me) was readily evident. Do yourself a favor and hire Allan Kassenoff.”
- Christopher (Ambrose)
How do we know that this is Christopher Ambrose?
First, neither Allan Kassenoff nor Christopher Ambrose have denied it:

Good evening,We are investigating the testimonial from Christopher Ambrose on the Allan Kassenoff Law Firm website: https://kassenofflaw.com/testimonials

- ChristopherWe have spoken to several sources and are in possession of additional evidence corroborating the Allan Kassenoff - Christopher Ambrose connection and specific family law advice during last summer's RO (Restraining Order) hearing before Connecticut Judge O'Neill. Our fact investigation confirms the statements in the testimonial are indeed from Christopher Ambrose. Is this fact admitted?
If you would be so kind as to answer a few questions or provide comment:
Questions for Allan Kassenoff:
What made you decide to feature Christopher Ambrose’s testimonial on your website, considering his history of legal and personal controversy?
Can you clarify the nature of the advice you provided to Christopher Ambrose during his divorce? Was there any formal legal agreement, or was this advice given off the record?
Why did you choose to offer your assistance to Ambrose without any compensation, as he mentions in his testimonial?
Given Ambrose's well-documented accusations of abuse, do you have any concerns about how this might affect potential clients' perception of your firm?
What do you believe your advice to Ambrose accomplished in terms of his legal success, and do you stand by the strategies you recommended to him?
Do you believe your approach to family law aligns with the principles of fairness and justice in light of the public outcry surrounding both your and Ambrose's cases?
How do you respond to criticism that featuring a testimonial from someone like Ambrose might signal a willingness to take on morally questionable cases?
Questions for Christopher Ambrose:
What prompted you to write a testimonial for Allan Kassenoff’s new law firm? Why do you believe his advice was so critical to your success in your divorce case?
Your case has been marked by serious allegations of abuse and manipulation. How do you reconcile these accusations with your praise of Allan’s "kindness and genuine concern" in the testimonial?
In your testimonial, you mention that Allan provided “invaluable strategic advice.” Can you elaborate on the nature of this advice and how it helped in your case?
How do you respond to critics who view your testimonial as an endorsement of a legal strategy that many see as emotionally harmful and manipulative?
Did you approach other lawyers for similar strategic advice, or was Allan Kassenoff’s involvement unique? What made his counsel stand out to you?
You’ve been accused of using DARVO tactics to reverse blame in your family court case. Did Allan Kassenoff’s advice factor into your legal strategy, and if so, how?
Considering the backlash against you and Allan Kassenoff, do you think that your public endorsement might harm rather than help his new legal practice?
Thanks you in advance for your time and attention. We intend to go to press shortly.

As of press time, we received no response. If we do, we will publish a follow-up.
Second, we have obtained exclusive evidence from Christopher Ambrose’s own hand AND further corroboration about “the post-trial motion phase of [Ambrose’s] divorce” and “invaluable strategic advice, which [Ambrose] conveyed to [his] lawyer” (who at the time was Westport, Connecticut’s Alexander Cuda).
This page discusses the “RO Petition”—the restraining order petition Ambrose sought and won against Karen Riordan last summer. Judge Thomas J. O’Neill is mentioned: “If I get O’Neill, it's not a problem; if I don’t, I'm not sure.”
This outlet is in possession of additional corroborating evidence and statements.
Kassenoff was advising Ambrose and, by extension, Alexander Cuda, the former president of the Family Law Section of the Connecticut State Bar.
Christopher Ambrose’s endorsement isn’t the typical testimonial one expects on a law firm’s website. This is a man with a well-documented history of DARVO tactics (Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim, and Offender) and allegations of child molestation.
His testimonial, which praises Kassenoff’s knowledge of the law and strategic advice, reflects a troubling alignment between two men who share similar legal histories of using the courts to devastating effect against their ex-wives.
Ambrose’s own divorce battle with Karen Riordan has left a trail of accusations, including allegations of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse of his children. His daughter, Mia Ambrose, testified to the horror of living under his roof, recounting instances of inappropriate touching and emotional degradation.
The fact that Ambrose would endorse Kassenoff should send anyone running in the opposite direction, not seeking his legal counsel.
Ambrose’s Pattern of Legal Manipulation
Christopher Ambrose is no stranger to manipulating the courts to get what he wants. Diagnosed by forensic psychiatrist Dr. Bandy X. Lee, Ambrose’s score on the Hare Psychopathy Checklist—a score higher than some serial killers—paints a damning picture of a man who is dangerous and manipulative.
As a mandated reporter, Dr. Lee also filed a Report of Suspected Child Abuse or Neglect for each of the Ambrose children. Her statements are unequivocal.
In addition to the Hare Psychopathy Checklist, the State of Connecticut previously found Christopher Ambrose dangerous.
A Connecticut Court Risk Assessment from December 2020 shows Court Attorney Allison Kass, Esq., determined Christopher Ambrose was HIGH RISK for potential danger to his children.
Private Investigator Manuel Gomez holds Counter-Terrorism and Homeland Security certifications from his service as an Army Intelligence Officer. He interrogated many war-captured terrorists in Afghanistan who attacked coalition forces.
Gomez has looked pure evil in the eye. He has investigated Christopher Ambrose. He minces no words: “Mr. Ambrose molests his children.” He told this to the FBI and US Attorney for the Western District of New York in a letter dated May 29, 2023.
Gomez calls Ambrose “The Leonardo da Vinci of Liars.”
The statements of professionals overwhelmingly corroborate the serious allegations of Christopher Ambrose’s child molestation. Ambrose prefers young Latin boys.
Physical evidence from his computer hard drives also backs it up. He frequents pornographic websites of underage Latino Boys and others performing homosexual sex acts:
We can’t show pictures from Ambrose’s computer here, and child pornography possession is a crime (we have no images - they are all already in the custody of law enforcement). But here are some names of the other “BOI” (aka BOY) images he likes, according to information from his hard drive:

Plenty of additional information is in the public record showing Ambrose's danger. His Madison, CT home is a den of iniquity, where underage girls are apparently plastered with alcohol and then (statutorily) raped. CT DCF knows all of this. They have seen the published pictures.
Ambrose’s manipulation of the courts and law enforcement has left three children in a dangerous situation where the apparent abuser, Ambrose, remains in control. He continues to evade accountability for his crimes.
However, the consequences for Karen Riordan and her children are devastating. Riordan’s children have been isolated from her, forced to remain in Ambrose’s care despite the overwhelming evidence of his psychopathy, dangerousness, and sexual abuse.
Is Allan Kassenoff a ‘Legal Manipulator’ Too?
Ambrose’s use of the legal system to target his ex-wife and children mirrors Allan Kassenoff’s own tactics during his divorce from Catherine. There were NEVER any allegations that Allan Kassenoff engaged in physical or sexual abuse with his children.
However, Kassenoff filed over 3,000 court documents and leveraged his legal acumen to alienate Catherine from her children, strip her of custody, and ultimately push her to the brink.
Catherine, who had previously battled breast cancer twice, lost custody of her three daughters and was evicted from the family home without notice.
Allan’s legal maneuvers—combined with video evidence of him berating Catherine, calling her a “fat, old loser”—were instrumental in cutting her out of her daughters' lives.
Is this ruthless legal strategy now the calling card of Kassenoff’s new family law firm? Based on a Christopher Ambrose testimonial, the question is valid.
The Robbie Harvey Fallout
Social media influencer Robbie Harvey was instrumental in exposing Allan Kassenoff and Christopher Ambrose to the public.
Through a series of viral TikTok videos, Harvey shone a light on the abuse allegations against Kassenoff, helping to bring the case to national attention.
Much more needs to be said about these “TikTokers.” They call themselves “Creators.” Are they journalists? Many, like Robbie Harvey, are not. The truth does not drive them.
Millions watched in horror as Robbie Harvey released clips of Allan berating Catherine in front of their children. They spread across the internet like wildfire.
Harvey’s clips do not appear altered, and there is no reason to think they were fake. It sounds like Allan Kassenoff and the lawyer never claimed it wasn’t.
Like many TikTok “Creators,” many (almost 30%) of his 3.5 million followers appear “suspicious.”
Harvey’s crusade against Kassenoff and Ambrose won him millions of views, greater status as an “influencer,” and increased revenues. It also came with consequences. Both men hit Harvey with legal demands, with Kassenoff seeking an outrageous $150 million in damages for defamation.
Using the courts to bankrupt critics into silence has long been a favorite of men like Kassenoff and Ambrose. Faced with the prospect of financial ruin, Harvey appears to have backed down, even removing many of the videos that originally exposed their abusive behavior.
Harvey publicly said he had good reasons for taking down the Ambrose and Kassenoff videos. One knowledgeable source says that his legal bills and the prospect of more were causing his own relationship problems at home, and his TikTok videos tend to corroborate that.
But to our knowledge, Robby Harvey has NEVER issued a detailed list or accounting about what he got right and what he got wrong. What about Allan Kassenoff was true and what was false?
Thanks to the settlement, we will never know.
Some speculate that Harvey was pressured into submission, with his silence raising questions about the power these men hold through their legal resources. The lawsuits against Harvey were apparent attempts to stifle free speech and the whole truth and shield certain information about Kassenoff and Ambrose from the public eye.
Because Kassenoff and Ambrose had the money and power of the legal system, they were able to usurp the “Truth.” The world now moves on with their version of the truth—unchecked.
What Kind of Law Practice Is This?
Allan Kassenoff’s new law firm isn’t just offering family law services—it’s offering a blueprint for how to dominate, destroy, and silence an ex-spouse. His decision to showcase Christopher Ambrose’s testimonial on his firm’s website clearly signals that this practice isn’t about justice or fairness—it’s about winning at all costs, no matter the toll on families or children.
What is Kassenoff Law’s offering? Legal fiction.
“Mommy is a Dead Duck” is true because Allan Kassenoff made it so.
For anyone considering hiring Kassenoff, the warning is clear: If you want to destroy your spouse, manipulate the courts, alienate your children from their other parent, and distort reality by establishing your chosen version of the truth, Allan Kassenoff might be the lawyer for you. His record shows he’s more than willing to cross certain lines to achieve victory.
And for those wondering about the future of family law, this partnership between Kassenoff and Ambrose suggests a troubling trend. The legal system, already fraught with power imbalances, is increasingly being used by litigants like these to wreak havoc on their families while shielding themselves from accountability.
The new Kassenoff Family Law Firm isn’t just a business—it’s a red flag. Allan Kassenoff’s alignment with a diagnosed psychopath and abuser like Christopher Ambrose should be all the warning potential clients need: Proceed with caution.
