Is Trump Coming to Staten Island Wednesday Evening?
Join Chazz Palminteri, Joe Piscopo, and Blue Lives Matter NYC To Help Law Enforcement Families
By Frankie Pressman and Modern Thomas Nast
We don’t ask for much. But when we do ask, it’s important. This one is big.
Today, we ask that you donate to the Child Reach Foundation and Blue Lives Matter NYC—only if it is within your means—to help support law enforcement families. These non-profits’ charitable mission is to benefit the children of Police Officers and their families in need, particularly those with special needs.
Gianna and Chazz Palminteri founded the Child Reach Foundation in 2005 to support children's health and welfare and to seek a cure for thalassemia, a fatal genetic blood disease. The Foundation provides grants for research and treatment of pediatric rare blood disorders and diseases.
It also funds programs aiding children and their families and supports Police Officers Benevolent Associations and local law enforcement families by granting funds for children with special needs.
If you are in the New York City area, you can show your support by attending an event on April 24 in Staten Island. The Child Reach Foundation is partnering with Blue Lives Matter NYC for a Charity Cigar Night.
If you plan on attending, contact Blue Lives Matter NYC immediately at bluelivesmatternyc@gmail.com.
Blue Lives Matter NYC is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit staffed by police officers and federal agency members who champion the "BLUE LIVES MATTER" cause.
The organization’s mission focuses on three main objectives: raising public awareness of the challenges police officers face, facilitating assistance within the law enforcement community, and providing support and comfort to the families of officers in distress.
The event is an important fundraiser that will help many in need. Don Roberto’s Classic Italian will be the venue. The legendary Joe Piscopo is a Distinguished Guest.
If you can’t make the event, consider contributing to Blue Lives NYC. No donation is too small.
We reached out earlier today to a guy on trial for his life in a Manhattan courthouse to let him know about this event and worthy cause. He really wants to be there, and his people said they would try their best.
We all know how he feels about law enforcement and their families.
