I still think 2024 will be remembered as the high-water mark of WOKE insanity and Cancel Culture. The tide has already turned, and we are reclaiming our country and civilization from the Marxists.
I hear what you are saying.... Perhaps 2024 is when the WOKE insanity reached its apex... kind of like MLB baseball in the early '60s. Baseball is still around and so will the woke movement in some form or fashion.... Our pagan culture endures and is seemingly growing thus WOKEISM will always have a haven of protection lurking in the shadows.
I like your metaphor better. Ironically, the first time I ever went bowling was at Gil Hodges' Bowling Lanes in Mill Basin, Bklyn with my cousin Gina....In the lobby was a host of memorabilia of Hodges that was more interesting than the bowling..... Those were the days.....

Or WOKE could be like bowling - which also reached its apex in the 60s. Relegated to die-hards and children's birthday parties.
