NEUROSCIENCE EXAMINATIONS ARE FAR FROM A "SNAPSHOT" IN TIME. THEY TELL A DEEP, PROFOUND, SCIENTIFICALLY, DATA BASED, DETAILED DOCUMENTED ACCOUNT.

PARENTS WHO SEEK TO UNDERMINE THE EVIDENCE OF THEIR CHILDREN'S ABUSE , CLEARLY PRESENT AND SUBSTANTIATED CAN BE DEFENDED BY MORE THAN HEARSAY TESTIMONY OF HIRED GUN I, MANIPULATABLE NTERPRETATIONS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING.

I also STRONGLY recommend a comprehensive annual Psychiatric Evaluation for the judges - Far too many exhibit signs of Sociopathy for us to continue ignoring the devastating short and long-term effects a missed diagnosis can have on the lives of hundreds of children and families. Judicial immunity granted to undiagnosed sociopaths is a recipe for judicial tyranny, and the irreversible destruction of countless lives.

This is so sad, the kids have been traumatized enough and the court continues to traumatize the children and mother.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you for all your hard work to help bring these unjust acts of corruption to light. These criminals are negatively affecting soooooooo many children and good loving protective parents. Keep up the amazing work covering the most vulnerable people in our country, our children. So many children are being court ordered to live in abusive homes and removed from the good parent. Family court and DFS work together to do this. They straight out deny forensic evidence of abuse, won't even look or consider it. Astonishing. If I didn't see and witness these kinds of acts with my own eyes I would never believe it. The corruption is obvious. Court professionals and judges are purposely recommending and ordering children to live with abusers and remove /greatly reduce contact with the good parent. It's corrupt, its pure evil driven by money. Any other reasonable, unbiased person who reviewed "high conflict" family court cases would have a greatly different outcome. I guarantee you that.

Thank you all for helping bring family court corruption to light.

Great news for the children. Hopefully their mother will be reunited with them very soon and exonerated for all she has been through.

Caveat emptor. Buyer beware. Please remember to check the credentials of all those whom you trust on your family court team.

Things are not always what they seem.

Edited: A baseline would be needed for relevence.

It’s simpler than that. Expert opinion MUST be combated by expert opinion in Court.

If a medical doctor specializing in neurology states that, in their expert opinion, the brain's physiology is consistent with certain traumas, it constitutes expert medical evidence. What you say, or the lawyers, or the judge, or anyone else, is incompetent evidence, no matter how well reasoned.

Your argument about the baseline is valid. However, it is legally unavailable because you are not an expert. If an expert made the argument, then it’s a different story.

The point is what you are BUYING is insurance against pseudo-science AND the legal requirement that the court slows down and actually considers your argument, because they are required to.

Abused women with a story = something easily spun by a DARVO abuser and a lawyer with words.

Abused woman with story + SPECT Brain Scan Medical Evidence = POWERFUL

Not sure if there are updated cases Since?

"appellate justices said it was within the trial judge's discretion to raise "serious questions about Amen's qualifications to testify as an expert witness"

That's a California state appellate court ruling. They are owned by the Trial Lawyers and Pseudo-Science lobbies. That's like asking a North Carolina court to say smoking is bad for you in 1955.

My concern is the qualifications of an expert. As many in the family court know and have experienced there are many unqualified players. From GALs, therapists, custody evaulators ans even lawyers operating inder no, supervised or revoked licenses! etc. It is common knowledge and par of the battle cry for better laws, standards of best practice and training like "Kayden's Law" seeks.

No. It is not. The assumption there is that you actually have a "qualified" "expert."

If you don't, then you've stepped into the same shadowy (unethical, immoral, illegal?) games as the system rather than with integrity and rising above it.

Sunlight is an antiseptic.

Does the expert have a foundation of peer reviewed papers /publication established in the relevant medical world?

What is thier reputation among thier colleagues?

Do they have an active license?

Are there sanctions on thier license?

Is thier education from a reputable school....that is accredited? That actually exists?!

Is it in the field they claim to be an expert on?

Is there public transparency in contact information?

Has thier CV been vetted out and confirmed?

A baseline is "legally available" because OC will XD to determine it to DQ expert.

According to Tyler Technolgies, premier provider of the US civil databases and software for courts,

licensure databses etc have SRL's (Self represented litigants = Pro se Pro Per) as 80% of cases. We are our case representative, (experts of our own cases, no lawyer knows it better than we do, neither are we beholden to the posturing among the colleagues).

So yes, the opinion of the so called "expert" can be thrown out.

Finally, is the expert witness unbiased/neutral?

"Court slows down and considers your arguement"? Contradicts what is said elsewhere in this post and actual court experience, this entire family court movement. Judges BROAD powers of discretion often refuse to allow testimony, squash/supress/disallow equal time etc.

There is enough systemic/institutional abuse, neglect, reckless disregard, betrayal, collusion and corruption, ADA, civil rights, Constitutional Rights, criminality and fraud going around that we don't need to devolve into the same, lest we become like the abusers themselves.
