Richard Luthmann, thank you for sharing this story and raising awareness. I am determined to seek justice for my child and prevent further tragedies caused by the greed, corruption, and egotism of judges, lawyers, and psychologists.

Elena, my heart goes out to you. I lived near you and watched you with your son so many times. You played with him in your yard and took him for walks. Your love for him and his for you was so evident. I’m praying for you and that you get your answers soon. It won’t bring your son back but it will help bring closure. 🙏

I can't even imagine the horror you're dealing with. To lose your son to this unbelievable corruption, within our U.S. government, is incomprehensible. My prayers will be with you from this day until the day something is done to stop these evil monsters. 🙏🙏💔🙏🙏

Forensic custody evaluations lack scientific evidence and have been proven to be harmful to children. These “doctors” have strayed from healthcare to become “custody doctors” making custody decisions instead of medical decisions. They exploit a population of vulnerable individuals, for $20-$40,000/ case. Since their methods lack scientific evidence, they are just making up whatever they want in their reports. These are the most despicable and unethical humans in the planet. Parents need to stop hiring these lying fools and start getting a diagnosis for our families going through custody conflict and treatment plans to solve any problems by clinical psychologist. Doctors should treat patients, Judges should decide custody, “custody doctors” I.e. Forensic psychologists should be in prison.

No offense to ones this does not apply but just because they are a doctor does NOT automatically make them a good person. I have worked with enough of them to know, including ones that knew him. The side a patient gets vs their actual self is usually very different. Also this is still her son he was a healthy 6yr old!!!- why would they not tell her what happened to him and be so secretive? If he was the model father and in fact a decent person don’t you think he would let his own child’s mother know what happened to Her son??? Just saying. I don’t know either of them myself but something sure sounds suspicious to me.

So let me get this straight and I hate to sound harsh, but so the mother loses custody and the child dies in the care of the father for whatever reason - illness, etc., AND the mother decides to exploit her child's death to gain an audience and blast the court because she feels that the Judiciary was at fault for her not having enough time with her son before he died?

Is that right?

I think the issue here is that any parent mother or father deserves to know why their child passed away. I don’t see anything online about the results of an investigation. I don’t think anyone is jumping to assumptions here because yes a child can pass away in any circumstances but answers should be available. Isn’t it our duty as adults as fellow parents and as a journalist to make sure this was just a horrible circumstance from natural causes and not something more?

Also, please don’t assume any parent is crazy. To ask for child support is not crazy. To not be able to hold a job when going to multiple court hearings, court psychologist appointments etc sometimes becomes impossible because of the sheer number of days off required.

Her response is not to gain an audience. Think about how you would feel if you raised your child for 6 years, lost custody and don’t know how he passed away. It’s horrible no matter what and answers should be provided.

As a mother who has endured the devastating loss of her 6-year-old son, I want you to understand the profound pain his passing has inflicted upon me. Your suggestion that I am exploiting my child's death for attention is deeply hurtful and misrepresents my intentions. It also speaks volumes about your character rather than mine. I am genuinely perplexed as to why such a thought would even cross anyone’s mind.

My sole objective is to pursue accountability and justice for the circumstances surrounding my son's tragic demise. When a parent experiences such an unimaginable loss, seeking answers and recourse is not only natural but essential. It is my right to question systemic failures that have contributed to this tragedy and to advocate for necessary reforms to prevent similar tragedies in the future.

As a society, it is imperative that we work together to ensure that no parent has to endure the anguish of losing a child under similar circumstances

WHAT?! You hate to sound harsh? Oh, really? The Child Protective Services and the courts who protect them are evil, beyond measure and you side with them. You sicken me. You must be a leftist.

Sounds like that is the case. I personally know Dr Gitter. He is a wonderful, kind man. The mother sounds like a nut!!

I genuinely appreciate your positive experience with Dr. Gitter and your perspective on him. However, it's crucial to acknowledge that every situation has multiple facets, and personal experiences can vary widely. Unless you have walked in my shoes and experienced the challenges of marriage, divorce, and custody battles with this man firsthand, it may be difficult for you to fully grasp the complexities involved. As a mother mourning the loss of her child, I want to emphasize that my actions are fueled by a profound need for justice and accountability in the wake of this tragic loss. Your understanding and support during this difficult time are deeply appreciated.

@Linda... I agree. I would like to know more of the specific events leading to the child's death. Every post or article that I have pulled up has been vague and just continue to focus on the family court system. @Richard Luthman... What specifically happened to the child that led to his death? You didn't provide us with those details. We can't just assume the father was negligent or did something to harm the child on such vague information.

All I have right now is speculation as to the cause of death. I have contacted several sources. The Polk County authorities are being tight lipped. In many case, the authorities will put out some information, for example: "Foul play has been ruled out," or something to that effect. There is nothing like that here, which leads to the conclusion that there is an investigation. Now, Adam could have died from a random occurrence and no one is saying Dr. Gitter did anything wrong at this juncture. But the circumstances are mysterious. One source told me that the hospital Adam was brought to is the one where Dr. Gitter's girlfriend works. That may or may not be a fact of significance, which is why we are following the developments.

The bottom line is that the mother herself does not have answers about her six year old son's death, and there are several irregularities.

It’s none of your business. If the local law enforcement agency investigated the incident, and the autopsy was performed without finding anything suspicious., how is it your business? Why are you so quick to judge when you have NO facts. You’re listening to a mom that was getting nearly $4,000 a month for child support and the dad had primary custody. She wanted more money… look at the public court documents. She never tried to get a job… read the court documents. She refused to answer questions asked by the court… read the court documents. From what I KNOW, the child was sick on Thursday night. He was brought to the ER on Friday night/early Saturday morning. He was awake and alert on the way to the hospital and that’s when he became unresponsive. Why are we rushing judgement upon the father? Because the boy had a belly ache for roughly 24 hours? I’m sorry, but not many parents, M.D. or Ph.D would rush their child to the ER because he threw up or had a little diarrhea. When conditions worsened, he took him to the ER. I guess my mom and dad should’ve been locked up for life! Everyone is saying that the police and hospital are “tight lipped”. No they aren’t! Police reports are public record! Ask for them! Do your due diligence before accusing someone of hurting or killing their child.

Dear Minerva (or whoever you are, as your name seems to vary across different media platforms),

I would like to address some discrepancies in the information you seem to be asserting as facts that you KNOW.

Firstly, regarding the custody arrangement, I want to clarify that the mother did have primary custody while receiving child support. However, when the father was granted primary custody, he subsequently filed for termination of child support. This change in custody also resulted in the mother being ordered to fly back and forth between PA and FL every other week to see the child, bearing all associated expenses. It's important to have the correct facts before making assertions.

Additionally, your statement that the mother never attempted to secure employment is inaccurate. Read the court documents. Moreover, since the father was granted primary custody in August 2022 and the mother was required to travel back and forth to Florida every other week while covering all expenses, finding employment under such circumstances would understandably pose significant challenges.

Regarding your comment about the child having a bellyache for roughly 24 hours, you are indeed correct. Healthy children do not typically drop dead within 24 hours from belly ache. This underscores the seriousness of the situation and the need for a thorough investigation.

Finally, while police reports are generally considered public records, ongoing investigations are not readily accessible.

If you possess any reliable facts that you can confirm, I urge you to reach out to me or to the journalist directly to share them. It is crucial to ensure that accurate information is disseminated. Thank you for your cooperation.

@Minerva that was my point in my last sentence. It seems like everyone is quick to point fingers at the father for neglect without any specific details being released. Like you said, it is all speculation at this point.

Your words are not believable. You're here to give false credence to the corrupt deviants, who pass as respectable professionals. Thank God.
