By Richard Luthmann
The Deep State is in full panic mode. Former CIA Director John Brennan, a known Communist sympathizer and disgraced intelligence chief, has launched a full-scale attack on Tulsi Gabbard, President Trump’s nominee for Director of National Intelligence (DNI).
Brennan, who once voted for a Communist Party candidate and oversaw some of the worst constitutional abuses in U.S. history, is now lecturing America on who should be trusted with national intelligence.
His latest smear campaign against Gabbard is a direct assault on President Trump’s America First agenda and an attempt to preserve the corrupt intelligence apparatus that was weaponized against the American people.
John Brennan’s History of Lies and Betrayal
Brennan’s attacks on Gabbard’s credibility would be laughable if they weren’t so dangerous. This is a man who:
Voted for a Communist Party candidate while the Soviet Union was actively working against the United States.
Lied to Congress about CIA spying on Senate staffers.
Defended the illegal mass surveillance of Americans exposed by Edward Snowden.
Spread the Russia Russia Russia collusion hoax that wasted years of America’s time and tax dollars.
Propagated the lie that the Hunter Biden laptop story was “disinformation” in the lead-up to the 2020 Presidential Election.
Now, Brennan claims Gabbard is unfit to be DNI because she has dared to question the abuses of the intelligence community.
It’s pure hypocrisy from a man who belongs in a cell at Guantanamo Bay, not on national television pretending to be a patriot.
Gabbard’s Confirmation Hearing: A Deep State Inquisition
Tulsi Gabbard’s confirmation hearing for DNI has been nothing short of a Deep State circus.
Senators parroted Brennan's smears instead of focusing on her years of military service, her experience on intelligence and security committees, and her dedication to protecting American freedoms.
Democrats and weak-kneed Republicans grilled her over:
She refused to call Edward Snowden a “traitor,” even though his leaks exposed illegal and unconstitutional government surveillance.
Her opposition to regime change wars, particularly in Syria and Ukraine, which she has rightly condemned as reckless foreign policy disasters.
Her past stance against Section 702 of FISA, a law used to justify mass surveillance on innocent Americans.
Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO) demanded she denounce Snowden as a traitor. Gabbard refused, reminding the committee that Snowden’s revelations exposed government overreach, which has since been ruled unconstitutional.
Her defense of constitutional liberties infuriated establishment politicians who want a DNI that rubber-stamps government abuses.
The Real Reason They Fear Gabbard
The intelligence community is terrified of Tulsi Gabbard because she represents real reform.
For too long, the intelligence agencies have been run by Deep State bureaucrats who operate above the law. These same agencies:
Lied to obtain FISA warrants to spy on President Trump’s campaign.
Interfered in the 2020 election by dismissing Hunter Biden’s laptop as “Russian disinformation.”
Used national security powers to target Trump supporters and conservative activists.
Gabbard has vowed to restore accountability and transparency, end intelligence abuses, and prioritize national security over political games.
“Let’s call Brennan, the National Review, and the rest of the Deep State intelligence apparatus’ assault what it really is. It is the continued and relentless attack of bitter Never Trumpers,” Richard Luthmann said on a recent episode of The Unknown Podcast. “They are all a disgraced bunch of losers who should just go away.”
Brennan and his cronies are panicking. President Trump’s most prolific political advisor and American treasure, Roger Stone, summed it up best:
“Tulsi Gabbard was good enough to fight in the wars created by John Brennan, John Bolton, and the rest of the Bush crime syndicate. Now that she wants to serve as the Director of National Intelligence, all of a sudden, she’s not good enough. Good enough to fight in their wars on their behalf, but not good enough to serve in D.C.? Give me a break.”
Brennan’s Smear Campaign Reeks of Hypocrisy
Brennan went on MSNBC to accuse Gabbard of potentially skewing intelligence reports to fit Trump’s agenda.
This is the same John Brennan who:
Oversaw CIA spying on Senate staffers investigating CIA abuses.
Defended Obama’s illegal drone strikes that killed civilians.
Helped push the Steele Dossier, a fake document used to justify spying on Trump.
Yet, he dares to suggest Gabbard cannot be trusted with intelligence.
It’s pure projection. The real threat to the integrity of intelligence operations is the corrupt system Brennan helped build.
The Senate GOP’s Litmus Test: Will They Stand with Trump or the Deep State?
Gabbard’s confirmation battle is a litmus test for Senate Republicans.
Will they stand with President Trump, national security, and the American people?
Or will they cave to the Deep State and Brennan’s lies?
So far, some Republicans have shamefully echoed Democratic attacks on Gabbard. Senators Susan Collins, James Lankford, and Todd Young have raised weak concerns over her past positions.
Meanwhile, Senator Tom Cotton has backed her nomination, signaling that true conservatives support Gabbard’s reform efforts.
Any Republican who votes against her is siding with Brennan, Biden, and the Deep State.
Trump’s America First Agenda Cannot Move Forward Without Purging the Deep State
The New American Golden Age cannot be realized until the remnants of the Deep State are eradicated from government and all corridors of influence.
The intelligence community must be restored to its original purpose: protecting America, not spying on Americans.
Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination is a direct threat to the Deep State’s grip on power. That’s why Brennan and his allies are in full meltdown mode.
The question is: Will the Senate cave to their pressure?
Brennan Belongs in a Jail Cell, Not on MSNBC
If justice still exists in America, John Brennan would be facing charges for his abuses of power, not lecturing the Senate on who should lead the intelligence community.
Instead, we have a corrupt media-industrial complex propping up a discredited deep-state operative while attacking a military veteran who wants to clean up the mess.
If Republicans in the Senate fall for Brennan’s lies, they should be thrown out of office—and into the jail cells next to him.
Conclusion: A Vote for Gabbard Is a Vote for America’s Future
Tulsi Gabbard’s confirmation hearing has exposed the rotting core of Washington’s intelligence bureaucracy.
The smears against her are not about her views on Snowden, Syria, or Ukraine.
They are about protecting the corrupt system President Trump was elected to dismantle.
If the Senate has any loyalty to the Constitution, the American people, and the truth, it will confirm Tulsi Gabbard as DNI—and send John Brennan into permanent political exile.
