I didn't say there's anything wrong with it. I said it's misleading to say he has seven kids. He has four kids and three step kids, who have a biological dad. Of his four biological kids, three are primarily raised by their mom in another state.

Most biological parents don't like it when stop parents act like they are parents. Hegseth is doing what some call parental alienation.
Saying Pete Hegseth is engaged in Parental Alienation is a real stretch.
Most biological parents are insecure. Children should be able to love and be loved by their bonus parents.

We consider all of them ours, & never call them steps. Yes, some lived with another parent for a couple of years, but we still call them ours.
A good way to make sure a cabinet nominee doesn't have to answer questions about honesty.
