Just aheads up but most of the New England States, except RI, and several Midwestern states have been getting their electric energy from CAN since 1909. A tariff of 25% will make affording electricity in those states impossible. CT already has a major issue with their electric through Eversource increasing this year, tripling what it was last year.
And who is going to farm the lands, pull the produce, these farms are NOT completely automated. The produce still has to be hand-picked and the tractors driven even for the parts that are automated. If you thought food costs were high already, just wait.
And who do you think is going to be doing your landscaping, and other jobs that Americans will not do because they do not pay enough to support them in this country or because they are hard labor jobs? Yes, that is right, the reason so many foreigners come to this country to work on the land is because American's are not doing the jobs that they are filling.
Our youth are NOT going to finish a college degree and then go work on a farm in the field picking produce for $13.33 an hour. No one can support themselves in this country on those wages. And no less, our youth, who physically could manage this work, are NOT going to pick produce. So what do you think happens to all that produce that goes unpicked? That's right, it rots and now we have no food on our shelves.
This is real. This is verifies. So don't shoot the messenger.
