For various reasons I believe the father is indeed the protective parent in this case. I am watching the long version of the video (about 45 minutes into it) It appears the mother pushed traumatic court ordered reunification for 3+ years. I cannot imagine any loving parent subjecting their children to what is described in this video, pushing the children to finally threaten suicide if it's not stopped. My opinion at this point, is that RT ruins families and steals childhoods, ... and has even caused death at times.
One of the points I tried to make is that there isn't a clear definition of Reunification Therapy. There are many great family therapy practitioners who help families and term what they do Reunification Therapy. And there are horror stories too.

To dad- I am so sorry and John “Jack” Moran and Wendy Borg were reunification “psycho therapists at OCB (overcoming barriers camp) that my son and I were forced/threatened to attend in 2019!!
It was HELL!!!
Ultimately after camp they and the judge also took my 2 boys from me and sent them to their abusive dads, separating the boys, states away to their different dads.
It’s true evil and they do it for the $$ like you stated.
The children are traumatized and forever scarred - lives destroyed- all for their greed and evilness

Turning Points tactics are child abuse. I would like to know what MEDICAL doctor endorses threatening and isolating children. I have a therapist on record stating the kids must behave for their father if they ever want to see their mother again. These girls were told to turn over their phones or they’ll never see their father. These fear inducing, barbaric tactics are child abuse.
The premise that the children are liars has no basis. Court appointed “professionals” (never an MD) are given immunity or quasi immunity by the judiciary, which means there is no way to hold them accountable for their actions.
They use the kids as pawns to drag out litigation. They inflict trauma by isolating them from a healthy parent and all extended family- and then destroy all sense of agency.
The only “winners” are the court appointed psychologists, gals, supervisors, who profit financially while life savings are depleted and parents are punished with sanctions if they don’t comply with the abuse.
As this father stated, what occurs in family courts is so extreme - it’s impossible to believe. Healthy parents are isolated from their children for years without being found to be unfit and with dcf making no claims against them. Their parental rights are intact but they are denied the right to bring up their children. Convicted murderers see their children but innocent parents have essentially had their kids “legally” kidnapped.
Paychologists and counselors are mandated reporters yet the court appointed psychologists, social workers etc brand an innocent parent by taking their children and denying the children their rights to be raised and have a relationship with both parents, but never report any concerns of abuse or neglect to DCF- because they know there is no basis to do so.
This is happening on a daily basis throughout the country but it’s too lucrative an enterprise and money is more valuable than children.
When “aging out” is a day kids long for, the destruction of their childhood by “profe$$ional$” is evident.
