SERVED: NYC Council Member Hanks and NYS Justice Castorina
Luthmann: 'Winter is Here'
By M. Thomas Nast
Last month, a former attorney, federal inmate, and now an investigative journalist for this publication, Richard Luthmann, filed an extensive, multi-million dollar complaint in Manhattan Supreme Court. The filing put several high-profile NYC elected officials and those connected to them in the legal hot seat.
In the 200-plus page filing, with extensive exhibits, Luthmann paints a picture of a sprawling conspiracy by former clients to evade past debts while simultaneously acting to avoid the political fallout of past crimes.
Luthmann’s complaint alleges brazen and corrupt activities by NYS Supreme Court Justice Ronald Castorina, Jr., and NYC Councilwoman Kamillah Hanks. Along with Luthmann, they engaged in deceptive social media campaigns connected to their primary elections in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
For his role in creating “fake Facebook” pages, Luthmann was convicted of the felonies of Criminal Impersonation and Falsification of Business Records in New York State.
For their roles in the fake Facebook and subsequent lies and perjury, Hanks became a NYC Council Member, and Castorina became a New York State Supreme Court Justice.
Luthmann further claims Hank’s partner, Kevin Barry Love, made menacing phone calls to his collections lawyers across state lines. The lawyers were threatened with grievances against their licenses, lawsuits, FBI and DOJ criminal action, and other negative personal consequences Love promised, backed by the largesse of Hanks’ NYC Council office.
One of Love’s threats was to “Bring It Big.” The millionaire NYC Real Estate investor taunted Luthmann’s former collections lawyers to “COME BIG” and “serve us, and we’ll see you in court from your <expletive> office.”
Yesterday, Luthmann brought it.
Hanks, Love, and Castorina Served
Luthmann hired process servers to hit the lawsuit defendants with papers. To date, Connecticut psychopath Christopher Ambrose and NYC Arts Cypher were served.

Several more are set to join the list, as Luthmann’s process servers have tried to serve Hanks, Love, and Castorina personally.
SERVED: Hanks and Love
Luthmann’s servers tried twice this week to serve Hanks and Love by hand at their abode in Stapleton, Staten Island. They ducked service twice.
"My process servers told me that Kamillah and Kevin are basically 'scared shitless' to be handed papers," Luthmann said, recounting how Hanks hid behind a Christmas tree on Tuesday afternoon.
Following suit on Wednesday evening, Love nervously refused a “delivery” from behind his locked door.
Having visited the property twice before, on Thursday, “Nail and Mail” service is available under the New York rules. The server must affix a copy of the legal process to the door. And they did just that.
To complete service, the process server has to mail a copy of the legal process to the address using US Postal Mail and file an affidavit of service with the Clerk of the Supreme Court in Manhattan.
For all intents and purposes, Hanks and Love are SERVED.

SERVED: Castorina
The servers tried the same procedure with Ronald Castorina, Jr. They went to his Westerleigh home on Tuesday during the day. When they reached the porch, they were greeted by a RING doorbell. The person speaking said they weren’t home, even though there was movement in the house.
On Wednesday, they again returned in the evening. And again, they were greeted by the RING doorbell.
Finally, on Thursday, the server “posted up” two copies of the process on Castorina’s door, one for him and one for his political campaign committee.
For all intents and purposes, Castorina was SERVED.

Luthmann Defiant
When asked if he was worried going forward, the former Game of Thrones lawyer was defiant.
“Winter is Here,” Luthmann said. “They knew I was coming. I think they all kind of hoped I might go away or they could work some mischief on me. But I am here. I’m not backing down. And this is as serious as a heart attack for every one of them.”
