President Donald J. Trump has ushered in a new era of justice and prosperity. Among his first actions as the 47th President, Trump issued sweeping pardons for the “liberated J6 hostages,” ending what he called the “political weaponization of justice.”
Meanwhile, calls for a grand jury investigation into the controversial “Biden Five” pardons issued by his predecessor, Joe Biden, are growing louder.
Biden’s Legacy Under the Microscope
Biden’s tenure saw unprecedented use of pardons for family members and political allies. The former President pardoned several family members in an “eleventh-hour” move on Inauguration Day.

President Trump’s nominee for Attorney General, Pam Bondi, is receiving heightened calls to investigate the Biden pardons. The Marc Rich affair stands as a precedent.
“This is about ensuring no person is above the law. The American people deserve answers,” Bondi said at her Senate Confirmation Hearing.
