I've know Mitch Powell for nearly 35 years. We were EMS partners for most of them. You will not find a man with more integrity, personal and business integrity, and intelligence to his trade. Well respected among his peers as a family 1st man and the same goes with his wife and children.

MANY of our co-workers including Mitch, LONG before he became to be boss @NYU Langone Medical Center, have used C&M Truck repair for our personal vehicle for decades. Carmine and his family who operate this repair shop are "family" to so many EMS workers because of their extremely reliable work, honest and fair prices, and the way we in return are treated as family. I consider the entire Vigliarolo family and Mitch longtime close friends and of course find this article unfair, appalling , and most of all untrue! Your poll at the end of this article proves such.

With all the nonsense going on in this world today THIS is your focus? Sounds to me, a recently retired EMS Paramedic of 40 yrs serving the City of New York and giving the best care possible to our community, as Mitch always has, that this article stems from a bad seed within the EMS community who needed a pee pee smack for not doing his job.

Through all his trials and faults and whatever else have you, I have always been an advocate for Richard Luthmann and consider myself a fair and reasonably honest and decent man and I am requesting him and the writers of this article, give Mitch a better shake than this. He is totally deserving of it.

Thank You, Sincerely

Bob Garzone EMT-P
